I have not played the my self but I have read them and they look a lot like FOG, supriced :). Im not sure what you mean by "the armies seem vast", do you mean big armies? Well I think they played with all they had :), we are planing to use 1000 point armies but I don't know how well that's going to turnout I thinkt its a bit big. But ask Dalauppror about the rules he has more intel about the game.
How where the rules I been looking at various sets for 28mm ECW and thought of FOG,R but the armies seem vast.
